A heatwave has been predicted for the UK, as holidaymakers head to the coasts to enjoy the August bank holiday weekend.
Meteorologists at the Met Office have predicted high temperatures and dry weather across the UK in the coming days, similar to the heatwave at the beginning of the month. Met Office forecaster Dan Stroud said: "There is a hint that temperatures are going to climb gently next week.
“We could see high 20s, possibly low 30s, across the South East and possibly we might hit heatwave conditions. Next weekend, the most likely forecast is fine and dry weather for much of the UK.
