A man who died after being struck by a Mercedes lorry in the east end has been named as Cameron Eaglesham, as his devastated family paid an emotional tribute to him.
Cameron is understood to have left a pharmacy and was crossing the road, near the Bellfield Street junction, moments before he was hit by an oncoming vehicle on Thursday, June 1.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at around 10.40am, including two ambulances, a special operations response team (SORT) and a trauma team.

The 44-year-old was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he sadly died.
Cameron's family have left a floral tribute and balloon at the scene of the crash, in his memory.
They spoke to Glasgow Live of their heartache over losing the "brilliant" uncle and brother.
A family member said: "We are all upset and it’s a shock, we can’t believe it. I don’t think it has hit us yet.
"I met him in the city centre two days ago. I said he looked brilliant and asked how he had been.
"My dad looked after his wee brothers and they always came with us on holiday, we used to go camping in a caravan when we were younger. My dad treated him like a son.
"My dad is in the hospital because he had a stroke and we had to get him out of the hospital to tell him what happened. He was screaming “no, not my baby brother”."
Police Scotland yesterday (June 1) released a statement confirming that the 45-year-old female driver of the Mercedes lorry was uninjured.
They have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
Sergeant James Crawford of the Divisional Road Policing Unit said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the man who died.
“Our enquiries are at an early stage and I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the crash take place who has not yet spoken to police to contact us.
“Anyone with information should contact officers through 101 with reference number 1390 of 1 June.”
