Glasgow parents 'stealing baby formula' amid cost of living crisis

Poverty-stricken Glasgow families are stealing baby formula amid the cost of living crisis, one local MP has warned.

SNP MP Alison Thewliss vented about the drastic measures the city's most vulnerable are 'resorting to' in the House of Commons on Thursday. The Glasgow MP said the price of baby formula is 'one of the most worrying increases' as locals struggle to make ends meet.

She claims the city's shopkeepers are putting security tags on formula packages or keeping them behind the counter in a bid to prevent and deter theft.
