Glasgow George Square protest held over cost of living crisis

Protesters have gathered in George Square to voice their opposition at the cost of living in Scotland.

A number of trade unions issued a call to the public to join them at the rally on Saturday afternoon.

The STUC posted on Facebook to say the event would also raise awareness of the P&O workers sacking scandal that saw nearly 800 staff let go last month.
