A cake shop owner lost a whopping seven stone and 'completely changed her life'.
Abby Redmond began her journey in May 2021 after becoming upset when she saw herself in a swimsuit, describing it as her 'rock bottom' moment.
The 25-year-old, who owns Abby's Cakes and Cupcakes in Bishopbriggs, decided to commit herself to turning her life around, began working with personal trainer Vivienne McLaughlin, and saw dramatic results. Her weight went from was 21st 1lb and dropped to 14st 1lb.

And now, she is up for a top award after turning her entrepreneurial skills to making her own protein bars.
Speaking to Glasgow Live , she said: "I've always been overweight - my whole life. I kind of just thought that was how it was, I never thought I'd be thin.
"One day I went swimming and I was in the changing rooms, put my costume on, looked at myself in the mirror and started crying. I thought 'Abby, you’ve went too far now, your body’s wrecked'.
"That was my rock bottom moment. I went home that day and messaged Vivienne. I own a cake shop and she'd opened a gym across the road. I thought if I’m going to do this she’s the right person, there’s no hiding from her. I joined Vivienne and it was the best thing I've done in my life."
Since then, not only has Abby lost seven stone but is stronger than ever and developed a love for exercise.
"I've lost seven stone and I've got so much stronger - I love deadlifting. I never thought I’d be excited for getting strong but that to me is more exciting than the weight loss."
Last year, Abby won an award at the Scottish Health and Fitness Awards for 'best transformation' thanks to her hard work.
Abby often receives questions about how she lost weight when working in a cake shop and said she still has 'a sweet tooth'. To help appease any cravings, she created her own protein bars - and they've turned into a huge hit, selling around 600 every week.
Thanks to their popularity, Abby is once again up for an award for 'health foods and supplement supplier' at this year's Scottish Health and Fitness Awards in June.
"People ask me how can you work in a cake shop and lose weight," she said. "Now and again I still do eat cake, but I wanted to create a product that I could eat every day - I do have a sweet tooth still. I came up with the protein bar. I love fitness and I love my job so it combines the two. I can’t believe how people are loving the protein bar.
"I’m moving into a bigger premises now to keep up with demand. I’m in the process of moving just now. I’m actually moving into Vivienne’s unit across the road because she’s moving to a bigger gym - it's a full circle moment."
She continued: "It’s completely changed my life - every aspect of it. The confidence I have. Yesterday I took part in the Kiltwalk, which is never something I could have done before.
"I’m not doing this weight loss journey anymore. It’s just part of my life.
"For my mum and dad, they’ve been through it all from the start and they’re so proud of me. My mum will text me saying 'I can’t believe how far you’ve come, I’m so proud of you'. I think she can’t quite believe how much progress I've made."
