Frankfurt: Germany's Bayer said it will invest $2.2 billion (1.95 billion euros) in a new American pharmaceutical site, as drugmakers face pressure from the Trump administration to expand manufacturing in the United States.
The facility in New Albany, Ohio, builds on more than $7 billion in investments by Bayer in US pharma research and development and manufacturing over the past five years, the group said.
