Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith willed his team to an overtime victory over the Lions on Sunday. Smith threw for 328 passing yards and two touchdowns, both coming in the fourth quarter and overtime. For his efforts, he’s won his first career Air Player of the Week award.
After the game, Smith addressed the media wearing a clean college professor type fit that brought on a lot of fashion commentary on Twitter.

It’s a good fit but there’s also a distinct Russell Wilson vibe going on here – especially since there’s nothing less cool than admitting you haven’t watched The Wire.
In any case, Smith is off to another strong start in 2023. He ranks ninth in the league in touchdown passes, eighth in QBR, sixth in passer rating and fifth in completion percentage.
