Manchester United hero Gary Neville has delivered a damning verdict of Arsenal ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.
The Gunners endured a difficult torrid end to last season, losing two of their final three Premier League outings, allowing local rivals Tottenham Hotspur to finish ahead of them in the race for a top-four finish. Since then, Mikel Arteta's side have invested heavily in their squad, spending in excess of £110million on five-first team signings, including former Manchester City duo Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Still, Neville has admitted that he still has doubts over the north Londoners, stating that he worries about their top-four credentials ahead of Friday's league opener against Crystal Palace. "I worry about the experience and a young manager," he told the Overlap YouTube Channel.

"To be fair, it’s not unfounded, the evidence is there staring us in the face. Last season, Arsenal should have finished in the top four, but in the end, the experience of Conte and the experience of the Spurs players, that game at the Tottenham stadium - it was alarming how naive Arsenal were and short they were.
"My concern is, and I know Manchester United and Chelsea are struggling a little bit in terms of where they are, and they might both blow up, but they would have to for Arsenal to get into the top four. The experience is still not there, both on the pitch and off the pitch.
"On the pitch, who in that team is going to (drag them over the line)?"
