Royal Challengers Bengaluru have made a dream start to their Indian Premier League 2025 campaign, winning both of their opening matches in the cash-rich tournament. They kicked off with a seven-wicket victory over defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders, followed by a commanding 50-run win against Chennai Super Kings. With two consecutive wins, RCB currently sit atop the points table.
Despite their strong start and top position in the standings, former India opener Virender Sehwag openly mocked RCB, referring to them as 'gareeb (poor).'
