Fashion chain Joules will close 19 shops after brand was bought by retail rival Next and founder Tom Joule . The closures, which will take place on Thursday, will result in the loss of 133 jobs.
Joules was plunged into administration last month after failing to secure emergency funding following a surge in costs and slowdown in demand.
The company has now been bought for £34 million, with Next also snapping up Joules’s head office in Market Harborough for £7 million.
