Fianna Fail backbenchers have aired their “frustration” after the party’s “disastrous” presidential election campaign.

Pressure has mounted on Fianna Fail leader Taoiseach Micheal Martin, after he championed ex-Dublin football manager Jim Gavin to become the party’s presidential candidate.
