Spanish giants Barcelona are reported to have submitted their first offer in a bid to prise away Leeds United winger Raphinha from the club this summer. The 25-year-old is under contract at Elland Road until the summer of 2024, with a whole host of European clubs also said to be interested in the Brazilian international.
Raphinha has been a key player for Leeds this season, with his importance underlined by the long-term absences of the likes of Kalvin Phillips and Patrick Bamford. Leeds have reportedly been in contract talks with the Brazilian, but his form over the past two seasons mean it is little surprise that he is attracting interest from some of Europe's brightest and best.
However, according to reports relayed by SportsWitness, La Liga side Barcelona have reportedly submitted a £35million bid for the player, who now see the Leeds man as their prime summer target. It is also said that the two parties have agreed in principal a salary agreement that would result in the player moving to the Nou Camp on a five-year deal.
