French luxury house Baccarat opens in Siam Paragon

World-class French brand Baccarat has made its way to Thailand with the launch of its first store on the 3rd floor of Siam Paragon. It boasts a wide range of meticulous crystalware, lighting and home decor that combines excellent craftsmanship and artistic designs.

Capturing chic Parisian lifestyle and the essence of the opulent atmosphere of central Paris, the boutique is designed to resemble a French townhouse, with black and white patterned floor tiles and Lorraine-style cabinets evoking imaginative ideas for artful decoration using various materials such as stainless steel, marble, wood and velvet.

Under the theme "An Unforgettable Baccarat Moment", the grand opening party delighted a group of special guests, including Jareyadee Spencer, Panitipad Suksomboon, Wanwilai Techasomboon and Vasana Ratanasunya with specially crafted signature drinks created by Crimson Room to amplify the unique experience.

"The most fascinating aspect of Baccarat which captivates me and will impress everyone is its illustrious history spanning over 250 years. Baccarat crystalware originates from the craftsmanship of skilled artisans with a deep passion for creating exquisite crystals. Through the use of special techniques, these artisans transform four natural elements -- earth, water, air, and fire -- to shape captivating crystal glassware. A collection not only mesmerises but also beckons ownership through its contemporary and intricate designs," said Santhep Gambir, a vice-president of Crystal Symphony, which is Baccarat's sole distributor in Thailand.

The highlight is the Eye Collection, which includes magnificent candlesticks and flower vases with engraving and motifs that shine and glisten in the light. The pattern follows the round and rectangular shapes of the crystal, forming a mesmerising wavy pattern and radiating a brilliant and energising glow.

The crystal containers are decorated with genuine, magnificent flowers to evoke the ambience in a renowned art museum in Paris, while the flickering flames on the crystal candle holders create a magical vibe.
