Danny Murphy has praised Liverpool's January signing Luis Diaz after his fantastic display in the Reds' 3-2 FA Cup semi-final win over Manchester City at Wembley on Saturday afternoon. Liverpool will play either Chelsea or Crystal Palace in the final.
The Colombian started in the Reds front three alongside Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah as the trio caused the City defence problems throughout the sunny afternoon in London. Joao Cancelo couldn't cope with the directness of Diaz at times.
Since his arrival from Porto at the end of the January window, Diaz has slotted into the Liverpool side and has given the Reds a huge boost as they go on the hunt for a historic quadruple.

“It’s so effortless for him, isn’t it?” said Murphy on Match of the Day. “He plays free from fear. Physically capable and quick. Both ways. He’s more than willing to work. Also, run in behind when they have got the ball. Also helping Robertson out when Sterling went past him. It’s exactly what Klopp wants from his wide men.
“But to walk into a club like Liverpool and just be able to have the self-belief, also mid-season. To play with the type of players he is playing with, the best in Europe, he’s not been intimidated at all.”
Diaz may line-up against Liverpool's bitter rivals Manchester United on Tuesday night as the Reds return to Premier League action at Anfield.
