The Kansas City Chiefs appear ready to make some more moves ahead of their Week 7 matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers. Shortly after the team reacquired former wide receiver Mecole Hardman from the New York Jets via trade, rumors quickly circulated about another member of last season’s Super Bowl team arriving at the facility for a possible return.
Since he was released last week by the Denver Broncos, veteran pass rusher Frank Clark has been linked by many critics for a return to the Chiefs. The free-agent defensive end announced via social media while reposting a fan that he would be in Kansas City on Thursday.

Speculation on social media ran rampant when Carrington Harrison, host of 610 Sports Radio show “The Drive,” posted definitively from his source that Clark would be at the team facility getting a physical done. The post was later confirmed by FOX 4 Kansas City Sports Anchor Harold R. Kuntz.

The Chiefs haven’t made an official announcement about Clark, but it appears things are turning toward a reunion. During his tenure, Clark was a highly respected veteran in the Chiefs locker room, with many current players seemingly hopeful for his return to the red and gold.
