A frantic search is underway to trace a missing Scots schoolboy who vanished two days ago.
Adam Phimister, 13, was last seen by his family in Newton Mearns, East Renfrewshire, at 9.30pm on Wednesday, May 4.
Concerns are mounting over his whereabouts with police concerned that he "is only 13".
The teenager is described as white, 5ft 8ins in height and of slim build with short, brown hair.
He is known to frequent the nearby Neilston, Clarkston, Thornliebank and Paisley areas.
Anybody with any information on Adam's whereabouts is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101.
Sergeant Thomas Turner said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for his safety as he is only 13. We want to trace him as soon as possible to ensure that he is safe and well.
“He is known to frequent the Neilston, Clarkston, Thornliebank and Paisley areas and searches and inquiries are ongoing to trace him.
“I would ask anyone who has seen Adam, or who has any information regarding his whereabouts to contact officers through 101 with reference number 3312 of May 4.”
