Frank Lampard has provided an injury update ahead of Everton's game against Crystal Palace and confirmed that Michael Keane is fit to start after recovering from illness.
Keane had missed Sunday’s 3-2 defeat to Brentford and his return will be welcomed after Jarrad Branthwaite’s sending off had left the Toffees defensive options looking threadbare. Ben Godfrey will return to the squad as will Donny van de Beek but Lampard will make a late decision on whether Godfrey is fit enough to play. Dominic Calvert-Lewin is also fully fit after limping during the latter stages of Sunday's game.
At his pre-match press conference, Lampard said: “Ben Godfrey will be in the squad. It’s testament to him how he’s strived to get fit. I’ll take a decision on whether he’s involved at all. Michael Keane is recovered and fit to start, Van de Beek is in the squad and [Dominic Calvert-Lewin] is fine."
