French President Emmanuel Macron announced that France will propose its own initiative regarding the situation in Gaza following the veto of the US resolution by Russia and China at the United Nations Security Council on Friday. Macron emphasized the need for the Security Council to take immediate action by calling for a ceasefire and ensuring humanitarian access to the region. He mentioned that France will reintroduce its draft resolution to the Security Council and collaborate with American, European, and Arab partners to reach a consensus.
