Four terrified cats dumped in Ayrshire layby as appeal for information launched

An investigation has been launched after four terrified cats were dumped at an Ayrshire layby.

The Scottish SPCA has launched a probe after the felines were discarded on Boig Road in Cumnock yesterday.

Scotland’s animal welfare charity was alerted to the incident when a member of the public spotted the cats at the side of the road in a dog crate.
