Two men and two women have been arrested in connection to a shooting that killed convicted drug dealer Gary 'The Canary' Carey last year.
The shooting happened in the underground car park at The Hilton Hotel on Dublin's South Circular Road after 11.30am on June 24th 2022.
The 41-year-old was admitted to hospital after the shooting and later died in early August.
A garda spokesman said today: "Four people were arrested on the morning of Monday 15th May 2023 as part of the investigation into the fatal shooting of a man in his 30s that occurred at an underground carpark of a premises on the South Circular Road in Kilmainham, Dublin 8, on Friday 24th June 2022.
"Two men in their 20s and two women in their 20s and 30s are currently being detained under the provisions of Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007 in various Garda stations across Dublin city."
