LUCKNOW: The discord between seven-time UP MLA Raghuraj Pratap Singh and his wife Bhanvi Singh, which was being talked out in a hush-hush manner in UP's political circles, came out in the open when the family court in Saket, Delhi, listed the former minister's plea for ending his 28 years of marriage for hearing on Monday.
The hearing was adjourned as family court judge Shunali Gupta was on leave. The counsel for Bhanvi Singh sought time to file a reply. The next date of the hearing is May 23. This is the second high-profile divorce case to have hit the state political arena. Early this month, transport minister Dayashankar Singh and former minister Swati Singh severed their marital ties after 22 years.
