Pro dancer Janette Manrara says she feels like she’s got her husband back now neither of them are on Strictly.
The It Takes Two co-host, 39, and Aljaz Skorjanec, 32, have been showing off their fancy footwork on tour.
And Janette reckons that returning to the stage has reignited the spark in the couple’s five-year marriage.
She says: “When he was doing Strictly, I would barely see him because we were on different schedules.
“It takes over your life so now I spend a lot more time with him, which is really nice.”
Janette admits that being back on stage with Aljaz has been like “going back to square one” in their relationship.
The couple were professional dancers on the BBC show for eight years before calling time earlier this year.
Janette says she and Aljaz felt like proud parents watching this year’s competitors perform in Blackpool last month.
She says: “We both had tears in our eyes because it was so good to be back in Blackpool and watch the dancers.
"I watch them all and think ‘The kids… they’re doing so well’.”
Janette and Aljaz are currently on tour with their festive show, A Christmas to Remember, which also sees the pair showcase their singing.
And they haven’t ruled out following in the footsteps of Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood by releasing their own music.
“We could do our own Christmas album one day,” Janette says.
The semi-finals of Strictly Come Dancing is on Sunday night at 7.15pm on BBC One and iPlayer
