Former Stranraer and Albion Rovers defender makes East Kilbride Thistle switch

Albion Rovers Thistle Stranraer East Kilbride Thistle Barry Russell David Sinclair Garry OHanlon Showpark Jags St Roch

Defender Barry Russell has sealed a return to East Kilbride Thistle after becoming gaffer Garry O'Hanlon's latest signing at the Showpark.

The 33-year-old started his career with the Jags 15 years ago before sealing a move to senior football in 2011 with Albion Rovers.

A further Thistle spell followed in 2018 when he joined on a brief loan move from Lowland League East Kilbride FC.
