The heartbroken ex former Rangers star Jermain Defoe has claimed their marriage ended after he cheated on her.
Glasgow beautician Donna Tierney, 40, wed the 40-year-old ex-striker in a £200,000 ceremony in June last year after a year of dating.
However, their marriage was dogged with rumours of his infidelity, the Daily Record reports.

Heartbroken Donna said: "My love for Jermain, our vows and our marriage was 100% real to both of us.
"I was a devoted wife, but it takes two people to make a marriage work, no less, no more and his infidelity eventually broke our marriage."
She added: "The truth is she wasn't dating, she was having an affair with a married man, my husband.
"My heart will forever remain pure. Jermain's had an exceptional playing career, and I pray he gets the career he deserves in the next chapter of his life."
Jermain and Donna met in January 2021 at a charity event when he was playing for Rangers. Seven months later he proposed at a £2,500-a-night Glasgow hotel.
Weeks after the couple's wedding ceremony, an unnamed nurse claimed Defoe had begged her for sex.
The duo last shared pictures together on social media in October last year and Tierney returned to using her maiden name online amid a rumoured split.
The Daily Record contacted Defoe's agent for comment.
