Welsh reality star Liam Reardon has been announced as the latest celebrity to join the E4 dating show Celebs Go Dating. It comes just a few months after the 23-year-old former bricklayer from Merthyr and Essex-born Millie Court, 24, called it quits on their romance in July, a year after winning series seven of Love Island in 2021.
The news was announced on the show's official Instagram and Twitter account and showed a video of Liam, accompanied by the caption: "Joining the agency a little later is Love Island’s Liam Reardon who’s hoping to get some expert advice to find the one #CelebsGoDating".
Explaining why he wants some help from the experts in finding love, once again, Liam said in the video: "I'm Liam, I'm from South Wales. Was formerly a bricklayer then I went on Love Island, fell in love, but now I'm at the agency hoping to move forward in my new life.

"So I've joined the agency because it's been a long, long time since I've last dated and I think it should be a good way to get myself back out there and if I can get a bit of advice on the way, then even better."
Mentioning his famous ex, Millie - who he moved to Essex for soon after leaving the Villa - in the teaser clip, Liam added: "My usual type used to be a tanned brunette. My ex-girlfriend kind of changed all that, so I'm just kind of happy with blonde's, brunette's, anything now, it's more about personality.
"I'd just love someone who's career-driven, independent and outgoing. Maybe Anna and Paul can bring out sides of me which I didn't know were there.
"I've never actually had expert relationship advice, so maybe they can possibly just give me advice on where I'm going wrong."
This announcement sees Liam join a string of famous faces on the new series also in search of love - the likes of fellow Love Islander (from series four) Laura Anderson following her split from Dane Bowers, TOWIE star Pete Wicks, popstar Sinitta, Hollyoaks' Gary Lucy and Cecilie Fjellhøy, who viewers may recognise from The Tindler Swindler.
This new venture for the unlucky-in-love Merthyr-born reality star - who just days ago revealed that his "special" family home was up for sale - read more on that here - comes just three months after he and Millie announced their split.
Releasing a statement on Instagram at the time, Millie wrote: "Hi everyone, to avoid any speculation Liam and I wanted to share with you that we have separated.
"It's been a tough decision and I am gutted but it's ultimately what is best for us right now. Thank you to every single one of you for supporting our relationship.
"Nothing will ever take away from the amazing experience we shared in Love Island and the past year and I wish Liam all the best in everything he does. We're both ready for new chapters and I'm excited for what's next. Love, Millie."
Liam released a similar message to his following.
Celebs Go Dating airs at 9pm, Monday to Thursday, on E4.
