Defensive tackle Roderick Perry signed with the Cleveland Browns last year after going undrafted in 2022 out of South Carolina State Illinois. He spend most of last season on the team’s practice squad before being promoted to the active roster in November. He signed a futures contract in the off-season before the team waived him in May.
He has now found a new home with the Seattle Seahawks who announced his signing on Sunday. Perry is a solid run defender at 6-foot-1 and 305 pounds and could help the Seahawks who lost a couple of defensive tackles to free agency this off-season though it’ll be an uphill battle for Perry.
