Ford F-150 Raptor And Tremor Get Major Price Cuts For 2027

  • Ford is launching two new entry-level off-road trims for the 2027 Tremor and Raptor.
  • The two trims have less content for a lower price without compromising capability.
  • Ford has shaved $5,300 off the Tremor’s starting price and $4,000 off the Raptor.

Ford is making its off-road trucks a little easier to get into for 2027. The automaker is adding two new entry-level trims for the F-150 Tremor and Raptor. Sure, they come with less equipment, but the trade-off is a lower starting price without sacrificing off-road capability.

The new F-150 Tremor borrows some of its equipment from the STX trim it’s based on, including the steering wheel. It also loses dual-zone climate control, heated seats, a power rear window, and running boards. The audio system is downgraded to six speakers from the eight-speaker B&O setup.

The 2027 Tremor starts at $62,410, including the $2,795 destination charge. That’s $5,300 less than the 2026 model, which starts at $67,710.

  • 2027 Ford F-150 Tremor — $62,410
  • 2027 Ford F-150 Raptor — $77,800

Diet Raptor

Ford gives the F-150 Raptor a similar diet for 2027, stripping away some of the truck’s less essential features to bring down the price. The new entry-level Raptor loses the head-up display, power passenger seat, under-seat storage, and fog lamps.

Ford also downsizes the Pro Power Onboard system from 2.0 kilowatts to 400 watts and swaps the power-adjustable steering column for a manual one. The new Raptor also gets an eight-speaker B&O sound system instead of the 14-speaker setup.

Under the hood, nothing changes. The Raptor continues to use Ford’s 3.5-liter high-output EcoBoost V6, making 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. The Raptor R keeps its supercharged 5.2-liter V8, which produces 720 hp.

The 2027 Ford Raptor starts at $77,800—$4,000 less than the previous model. The 2026 Raptor starts at $81,800 with destination.

Motor1’s Take: Ford offering cheaper off-road trims for 2027 is a good thing for buyers as the cost of everything else continues to rise. It signals that consumers are becoming more cost-conscious, and Ford is doing its best to keep its most fun vehicles somewhat affordable.
