Ivor Pandur has hailed Allan McGregor's influence as he gears up for the Old Firm clash.
The Croatian goalkeeper, who joined Rangers from Hull City this summer, has made an impact and is eager to build on last weekend's 3-0 win against Celtic at Ibrox.
Pandur believes having McGregor, one of Rangers' most celebrated goalkeepers, as a mentor has been crucial in his early months at the club.
He said: "It's really good. I think I am really lucky that I came here and to have him as a coach. He can give me some of the advice and experiences that he had playing for this club.
"He has been through it all, so I always have someone to ask. If there's something I want to know or I don't understand, I think it will help me really to have him by my side."

McGregor, who earned legendary status at Ibrox with numerous honours and stellar performances, including in Old Firm derbies, is someone Pandur is keen to learn from as he adjusts to life at Rangers.
The 26-year-old joked that McGregor appears more stressed on the sidelines than he ever was on the pitch. Pandur said: "I think he was probably more stressed now than when he played. No, he was good.
"He's a calm guy, doesn't give too much information because he just wants to help, and training is enjoyable.
"I can only say good things."
