A 31-year-old man thought he was going to die after a vape burnt a hole in his lung, causing it to collapse. Alex Gittins had a chemical taste in the back of his throat and started experiencing breathing problems after using the newly bought vape.
Afetr getting gradually worse over two hours, Alex went to hospital where an X-ray showed one of his lungs had deflated.
He told t he Mirror : "I noticed an awful chemical taste in the back of my throat, then five to 10 minutes later I felt what was like a stitch."
