Firefly Hosts Watch Party With Live Music And NASA Vips

Firefly, a space company based in Cedar Park, Texas, recently held a watch party in the bustling suburb of Austin. Known for its vibrant live music scene and the famous 'Keep Austin Weird' slogan, Austin provided the perfect backdrop for the event.

The watch party took place at Haute Spot, a popular venue in the area known for hosting concerts and large gatherings. The event was attended by Firefly employees, investors, and even some NASA VIPs.

Entertainment for the evening included a performance by a Led Zeppelin cover band, setting the stage for the upcoming lunar landing attempt. To keep the crowd engaged, Firefly also introduced a few speakers throughout the night.

The highlight of the evening was a musical act featuring Tim Dodd, also known as The Everyday Astronaut, a well-known YouTuber and science communicator. Dodd's performance included a Blue Ghost lunar lander mockup as a backdrop, adding an exciting visual element to the show.

Additionally, footage of SpaceX launches was displayed on a large screen beside the stage, further enhancing the space-themed atmosphere of the event.
