A spectacular cosmic dazzling fireball illuminated the midday sky across the southeastern US, captivating onlookers from Georgia to the Carolinas on 26 June 2025.

NASA confirmed this was a meteor, disintegrating with the force of 20 tons of TNT, triggering loud booms and tremors.
