A fifth person has been arrested as Gardai investigate a fatal shooting that took place last year.
Convicted drug dealer Gary 'The Canary' Carey was shot dead in an underground car park in Kilmainham on June 24 2022. A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested today in connection to the shooting.
The man is currently detained at a Garda station in the city centre. Four people, two men and two women, were previously arrested on Monday morning as part of the investigation.

They all remain detained at various Garda stations across the city. Investigations are ongoing.
