The fiancée of a man killed in a crash said she "can't imagine life" without him.
Police were called to Hall Lane, Hindley in Wigan at around 4pm on Thursday, September 1 to reports of a crash. When officers arrived at the scene they found it involved a Honda CBR100 motorcycle and Ford Focus car.
Today, police said the motorcyclist who died in the crash has been formally named as Jamie Harrison, aged 53. His fiancée, Amanda, has paid tribute to the man she described as the love of her life.

She said: "As a family we are devastated the loss of my babe (Jamie). It has been such a shock and something we as a family will never be able to comprehend or get over. We can't imagine life without you, my handsome man.
"You were funny, always right and the love of my life. You were so selfless when it came to us all and loving. The only solace as a family, is that you died the way you would of wanted to.
"Rest in peace Babe, you are missed so much, big kiss." The family have asked for privacy at this time.
A statement posted on Greater Manchester Police's Leigh, Atherton and Hindley Facebook page previously said: "We’re investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Hall Lane in Hindley yesterday (September 1, 2022).
"At around 4pm yesterday (September 1), officers were called to reports that a Honda CBR100 was travelling along Hall Lane in Hindley when it collided with a Ford Focus. The collision left one of the drivers with fatal injuries.
"The other driver remained at the scene and is assisting with our enquiries. No arrests have been made. Our enquiries are ongoing and we appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have dash-cam footage from around the area at the time, to get in touch with us on 0161 856 4741 quoting incident number 2082 of 01/09/2022. Details can be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
