Ferne McCann and fiancé Lorri celebrate their anniversary with a glorious getaway

Ferne McCann has gushed over her fiancé Lorri Haines, thanking him for “showing up no matter what” as the pair celebrated their one-year anniversary together.

The former TOWIE star, 32, uploaded a slide of images to her Instagram account to celebrate businessman Lorri, 30, as the pair cosied up together while on a getaway to Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire.

In the post, the couple could be seen enjoying a walk in the countryside, going for a cycle, and enjoying a roast dinner. Ferne included a snap of the couple posing in matching robes in front of a mirror as they beamed for the camera.

Ferne captioned the slide: “Celebrating our one year anniversary. I’ve learnt so much about love since being in this relationship. Perhaps before I had a warped idea of what love actually was.

“Love isn’t all happiness. Romantic dates, lust, laughter, snuggles, cosy dinners & endless joy. No, love means warts n all & showing up no matter what.

“The good the bad & the ugly. So Thankyou @lozzahaines for showing up through the good times and the really really really s**tty times! It’s not been the easiest first year of a relationship but it’s also not been a total write off.

“So with the ebb & flows, I am super happy to have you by my side. Here’s to many more babe.”

Ferne recently opened up about the past few months being “incredibly difficult”, using meditation to get through the tough times.

The reality star had uploaded a video to her Instagram Stories to open up about the ways she has tried to feel “calm” amid the difficulties she was experiencing.

She was recently embroiled in a voice note scandal, where an anonymous Instagram account leaked clips allegedly sent by Ferne.

Ferne recently shared an image of herself meditating in India, with part of the caption reading: “From my meditation, I really focused on just connecting with the stillness. The stillness in my mind and body. It's not always easy but I didn't want to complicate it.

“I felt and feel so calm and for the first time after some incredibly difficult months I felt positive. This morning was such a reminder for me to surrender to the here and now.

“Just be and commit a little harder to those moments that you know will benefit you the most.

“This is your sign to do something today that will lighten your mood. Take care of yourself.”
