CPU behavior in Squad Battles has been reworked after feedback pointed to overly passive sequences and long stretches of low pressure possession. The CPU will look to play with more intent and attack more often, rather than prioritizing ball retention.
Player movement will see some changes with updated Acceleration Types height values. These changes adjust the minimum and maximum height thresholds that determine run types, leading to more players qualifying for the Lengthy run type.
Defensive reliability has been improved in critical moments as defenders positioned on the goal line will make automatic clearances in clear last second situations where user reaction time may not be enough. Physical play has also been tuned with shoulder challenges now favoring players with significantly higher Strength.
