Leeds United often played with a 'we'll score more goals than you' mentality under their previous manager Jesse Marsch with their fast pace coupled with a brutal pressing game.
Their performances were more often than not seen as better than their opponents but they were far too weak defensively and they ended up shipping too many goals.
That, obviously, wasn't a fantastic recipe for wins as the Whites won just four matches under the American this season before he was sacked in early February.

But a statistic tweeted by TheOther14 has revealed that Leeds United have the most amount of different goalscorers throughout the entire Premier League this season - discounting the Big Six.
The Whites top the table with 14 after Luke Ayling and Rasmus Kristensen's goals against Wolves put them on the scoreboard for the season, while relegation rivals Everton are close behind in second with 13 different goalscorers.
Further down the list, clubs pushing for European places like Fulham and Newcastle United are tied on 12 while top-half Brighton are on 10 different goalscorers this season.
Striker Rodrigo is Leeds' top goalscorer in the league having netted 11 times already in the campaign, but the next man on the list is actually Crysencio Summerville who has notched four goals - although he hasn't scored since a run of four games on the bounce across November and December.
While some might argue this highlights a lack of clinical goalscorers at the Whites, it can actually represent the opposite and serve as a positive sign for the future of the club.
New manager Javi Gracia seems to have cracked the code in making sure goals come from all areas of the pitch, with only Jack Harrison being the repeat scorer in the five games he's managed.
Defenders Junior Firpo, Ayling and Kristensen have all chipped in with their important firsts of the season in recent weeks while Harrison's two against Brighton and Wolves saw his tally rise to three in the campaign.
It's a sign that the team's togetherness off the pitch is starting to creep onto it at the best time possible - with a heated relegation battle on their hands, everyone is starting to pull their weight.
If the Whites continue to rise up the table thanks to Gracia's new implemented style of play at Elland Road, we might continue to see players from all across the pitch contribute to the Whites survival chances.
