A family has spoken of their holiday heartbreak after they were selected to be removed from a flight to Greece because the plane was too small - after they had already been delayed for 48 hours.
Daniel Riley, 43, his wife, Diane, 41, and their 11-year-old daughter Eva, arrived at Manchester Airport on Saturday and were only able to leave at 5pm on Monday.
The family's horror experience comes as the trouble-hit airport once again struggles with early-hour queues and delays as the bank holiday weekend begins, Manchester Evening News reports.
