CHENNAI: The concept of marriage is not merely satisfying the carnal pleasures of the couple, but to progenerate, which leads to the extension of the familial chain, Madras high court has said. “The child born out of wedlock is the connecting link between the couples,” it added.
The judge made the observations recently, while hearing a child custody litigation between a lawyer couple. Since the lawyer-husband failed to obey several orders of the court to provide visitation rights to his wife, she moved the court alleging parental alienation by her husband.
