Phone chargers sold online by major retailers such as Amazon, B&Q and eBay can electrocute users and explode, a watchdog has warned.
Which? bought 15 USB phone chargers from seven online marketplaces and tested them to determine whether they were safe and legal to sell in the UK, finding that nine were so badly manufactured that anyone using them was at risk of receiving an electric shock.
