In Lucknow to promote her show Maitree, actress Shrenu Parikh, revealed her relationship status when asked if she was single or committed. "I am not single anymore!" said the actress, adding, "Well, let me tell you that I am very much committed to Akshay (Mhatre)."

We both were quite clear from day one that we will not go ahead with our relationship if our families don't agree to it. Both Akshay and I are quite family oriented and similar on this front."
