American weather forecasters claimed parts of the UK could hit 35C next week, as temperatures hit near heatwave levels again.
The prediction, which takes its information from the US government's National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), said it could feel like 35C at 1pm on Wednesday, August 10 in London.
The Met Office and BBC Weather both claimed it would be nearer 26 or 27C in the middle of next week, however.
