A former Manchester United star who got 'bored of money and the attention of women' is now a Roman Catholic priest.
Phil Mulryne, who was once tipped as a star of the future for the Red Devils, progressed through the club's academy. However, he made just one Premier League appearance before joining Norwich for a fee in the region of £500,000 in 1999.
Mulryne, now 45, quickly became a fans favourite for the Norfolk club and he won promotion with them back to the top-flight. As reported by the Mirror, the midfielder made 161 league appearances in total at Carrow Road before departing Norwich to join Cardiff in 2005.
