Jermain Defoe is "100 per cent" open to returning to Rangers as a coach or manager.
The former Ibrox striker, who helped the club secure their 55th league title under Steven Gerrard, said he would relish the opportunity to return to Glasgow.
He spent two-and-a-half successful years at Rangers after joining from Bournemouth in January 2019. He scored 32 goals and helped end Celtic's dominance of the Scottish Premiership.
Speaking on The Warm-Up, Defoe revealed his desire to return to the club in a coaching capacity. He said: "100 per cent.
"Why I'd go back in is because I feel like I'd do well, the team I'd have around me, the experience and the know-how."

The former England international believes his recent coaching experience has put him in a strong position to take the next step in management.
Since retiring from professional football, the 43-year-old has been building his coaching credentials and says working on the training pitch quickly convinced him that management was the path he wanted to pursue.
Reflecting on his time at Rangers, Defoe said: "I felt like I did my two years at Tottenham, done all the courses, even though the courses can't prepare you for what it's really like. It just can't prepare you for what you have to go through.
"But at the same time, I feel like I'd do well, I would enjoy it."
