Julia Wendell amassed over one million social media followers last month after claiming she was missing British girl Madeleine McCann.

Maddie went missing while on a family holiday in Portugal in 2007 and has been the subject of huge media and public interest ever since.

When Julia Wendell emerged online saying she could be the missing tot, it caused a media storm with reports even suggesting the McCanns were interested in a DNA test.
