Leeds United's relegation from the Premier league means the Whites will be fishing in a different pond when it goes to the transfer window this summer. Back in the Championship and with salaries and budgets cut, the club have to be careful on what they spend despite having the benefit of a parachute payment.
Leeds are by no means shopping in the bargain bin, but they do need to be more frugal and picking up a free transfer here and there to strengthen the squad depth further or to offer a back-up option would make good business sense.
With that in mind, we have calculated all the players released in the Championship at the end of the season who are now available on a free. Here's where all Leeds' new rivals stand and the players who are out there looking for clubs.
