Liverpool are reportedly weighing up whether to make a move for Ajax and Ghana star Mohammed Kudus after his match-winning display in the World Cup caught the eye of many.
Kudus has already shown Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp first hand what he can do after scoring a superb goal for the Dutch champions at Anfield in the Champions League group earlier this season.
Frank Lampard is also an admirer of the 22-year-old. In the summer, Lampard tried to sign Kudus, who has since admitted speaking to the Everton manager over a move to Goodison Park.

And the attacking midfielder showed exactly why on Monday afternoon. His two-goal heroics in the 3-2 win over South Korea in Qatar means Ghana go into a match with Uruguay where the winner will progress to the knockout stage of the World Cup.
According to De Telegraaf, Liverpool have been closely watching Kudus throughout the the World Cup, and even before the tournament started, while Everton remain in the hunt for the man they almost signed in the summer.
Kudus already has 10 goals in all competitions for Ajax this season and is a player that could add so much to both the Reds and the Blues.
He recently spoke of his admiration for Liverpool star Thiago Alcantara: "I loved [Thiago’s] game as a child," Kudus told Ajax's official channels. "I like creativity and joy of playing. When I played in Denmark, a friend of mine arranged a shirt from him. It was fantastic."
