Everton have once again been linked with a move for Nottingham Forest captain Joe Worrall as Frank Lampard continues to look at options that can help rebuild their defence next season.
Scouts have recently been sent to watch the Forest skipper in action sparking speculation that the Toffees could make a major move for the centre-back this summer. But it has been claimed by the Sun that Everton's £121m losses in the last financial year could leave them no choice but to sell before they can even contemplate making any signings.
Everton have had a torrid season and could even be replaced by Forest in the Premier League next term if they are relegated and the Reds win promotion to the top flight. Worrall has been linked with a string of Premier League clubs in recent seasons and was heavily linked with a move to Burnley, but a move never transpired.

The centre-back's stock continues to rise after a stellar season at the City Ground this term having played a key role for Forest under head coach Steve Cooper. Not only as he helped them climb up to fourth in the table in the Championship but was excellent in their FA Cup run as they reached the quarter-finals.
He is not the first Forest player to be linked with a move to the Premier League with Reds team-mate Brennan Johnson having been linked with a big-money move to Newcastle United.
