Rylan Clark has been flooded with support as he issued a plea.
The 34-year-old was one of the hosts of Eurovision as Liverpool successfully staged the international song contest last week. Mae Muller represented the UK at the event and finished in second to last place.
Rylan has urged the I Wrote a Song hitmaker to not be disheartened by the low finish as he pointed to how well it is performing in the UK charts. The two partied the night away after Saturday's grand final at Teddy's bar on Slater Street.

Rylan shared a snap of the two hugging in the DJ booth on Instagram as he said: "Our lovely Mae is currently in the Top 10 alongside Käärijä and Alessandra. Let’s keep them there and supporting them.
"Loreen is currently number 2 and we can gift this wonderful woman with her first UK number 1. She’s grafted for years and what an end to her incredible Eurovision experience. Let’s support our Euro Artists and give them the recognition they deserve. Love you all xx."
Celebrity fans backed Rylan's comments as Amanda Holden responded with a heart emoji.
@teacuptearoom said: "Well said and thank you for keeping pushing positivity for Mae, she is a young lady after all and it’s a banger whatever people think!"
Jack added: "Love this. Mae deserved so much more!"
JM posted: "Mae was amazing. We shall be hearing and seeing a lot more of her. "
