Eurovision fans were brought to tears when Liverpool's own Rebecca Ferguson joined Ukrainian star Alyosha onstage for a heartfelt duet uniting Britain and Ukraine.
The two singers performed in the first Eurovision 2023 semi-finals yesterday, with Alyosha taking centre stage for a rendition of Ordinary World by Duran Duran while the a pair of wings the colour of the Ukrainian flag spread out behind her.
She was joined by Rebecca, who appeared in a visually striking pink dress.

Fans praised the performance, which celebrated both Ukraine, - Eurovision's reigning champion - and the UK, which was chosen to host the song contest this year due to the invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops.
Charlene Gibson said: "I was crying at the end of the song. It was so amazing just can not find the right words to describe it."
Diederik Dorst said: "Well done. Respectful, emotional but not sentimental. Great."
David Mackay said: "Absolutely stunning - brought a tear to my eye."
Dan Curl said: "This was a truly beautiful and moving tribute as well as cracking duet. Douze points! Well done Liverpool! You made two nations very proud tonight!"
One woman said it was "the most beautiful performance on Eurovision of all time", while another fan described it as "stunning, emotional and breathtaking".
Others praised the use of lighting and special effects on the stage, which included a beating love heart in yellow and blue, and yellow and blue lights which appeared to glow from Alyosha's chest.
Sarah Blohm said: "Whoever developed the staging and effects deserves a huge congrats, it looked absolutely stunning."
Caroline Friend said: "Huge well done to the staging/lighting crew... the effects were amazing."
