Freiburg boss Julian Schuster handed Motherwell an ominous warning and insisted there will be no let-up after crashing in another five goals at the weekend.
The Fir Park side face the enormous task of having to try and overturn last week's 3-1 home first-leg deficit for Thursday's return. Freiburg followed up their comeback win in Lanarkshire with a 5-1 hammering of Fortuna Dusseldorf in the German Cup.
And Schuster wants the same kind of performance when the Steelmen visit Germany to face the Europa League runners-up. He said: "We can't deny that we've put ourselves in a good position to qualify thanks to the first leg in Motherwell.

"We've consistently delivered strong performances at home, and of course, like last year, we want a long season with as many games as possible. And to do that, we have to take the next step on Thursday and complete the job.
"We won 5-1 against Fortuna, so obviously a lot of things went right for us. But when we were 1-0 up, there was a brief period where we allowed them back into the game. So I would criticise the players for that.
"But it's two competitive matches and two wins. That's okay for now."
